Homegrown Straw and Grass with No Chemical Fertilizers
In general, most farms raise cattle using purchased straw and grass. However, at our ranch, we use only the manure from the cattle we raise as compost, producing our own pesticide-free straw and grass. This ensures that the feed given to the cattle is safe and secure.

Clean and Spacious Cattle Sheds
Our cattle sheds are always kept clean and well-maintained. Unlike typical cattle sheds that often have limited space, resulting in narrow personal space for the cattle, our sheds are spacious, reducing the risk of cattle coming into contact with each other. This spacious environment eliminates the need to trim the cattle's horns, allowing them to live stress-free. Additionally, there is no concern about the risk of infections from wounds.

One of the Leading EU-Export Certified Ranches in the Country
While there are various conditions for export, our ranch is certified as an EU export-approved farm. We meet stringent international standards, ensuring we provide high-quality and safe products.

What is Miyazaki Wagyu?
A Wagyu Brand with an Unprecedented Four Consecutive Wins at the Wagyu Olympics, Held Every Five Years, in 2007, 2012, 2017, and 2022
These are Japanese Black cattle raised and fattened in Miyazaki Prefecture, with a meat quality grade of 4 or higher as graded by the Japan Meat Grading Association. They are descended from prefecture-certified breeding bulls or bulls designated for livestock improvement.

Historically, Miyazaki Prefecture was primarily focused on horse breeding. However, following World War II, there was a rapid decline in horse breeding, leading to a swift increase in Wagyu cattle, making Miyazaki Prefecture the third largest in Japan for Wagyu cattle population. In 1971, the region shifted from primarily producing beef calves to establishing an integrated production system encompassing breeding, fattening, and meat processing within the region.
Regarding the breeding bulls of Japanese Black cattle in Miyazaki Prefecture, they utilize a unique crossbreeding method that capitalizes on the strengths of the three major national lineages: the "Kedaka line" known for its superior physique, the "Ito line" known for its balance, and the "Tajima line" renowned for its high meat quality. This unique breeding approach has led to the development of outstanding breeding bulls such as "Yasufuku" and "Itoshige."
The breeding and improvement of Japanese Black cattle in Miyazaki Prefecture is a collaborative effort involving the prefectural government, the JA Group, and other beef-related organizations, resulting in the high-quality Miyazaki Wagyu known today. The breeding bulls are centrally managed by the Miyazaki Livestock Improvement Association.
Wagyu Olympics Victory
The Wagyu Olympics, held every five years, is a nationwide competition that gathers the finest Wagyu cattle from across Japan to showcase their breeding improvements and excellence. Officially known as the "National Wagyu Exhibition," it is also referred to as the "Wagyu Olympics." The competition is divided into two main categories: the "Breeding Bull Division" (Sections 1 to 6), where the appearance and conformation of bulls and cows are evaluated based on their age, and the "Meat Quality Division" (Sections 7 and 8), where the quality of the meat is assessed. Outstanding cattle selected from each prefecture compete to demonstrate the results of their breeding improvements.
Miyazaki Wagyu has won the highest award, the Prime Minister's Award, in 2007, 2012, 2017, and again in 2022, making it the first brand in history to achieve four consecutive championships.

Service track record
Miyazaki Wagyu was served at the 96th Academy Awards after-party, the Governors Ball, this year. The tradition of serving Miyazaki Wagyu at the Academy Awards after-party began in 2018 (90th Academy Awards), and this year marks the sixth time it has been provided by our council, excluding the COVID-19 pandemic years. Miyazaki Wagyu, known for its melt-in-your-mouth marbling and sweet, rich aroma, is enjoyed by numerous global stars each year and receives high praise. Wolfgang Puck, the official chef of the Academy Awards, has lauded it, saying, "There is nothing that surpasses Miyazaki Wagyu, and more people around the world should know about it." Additionally, Miyazaki Wagyu is presented to the champion sumo wrestler at every Grand Sumo Tournament.
